This set of three ceramic mugs brings the warmth of Moroccan pottery into your daily coffee ritual. Each piece is hand-thrown by Abdelhak Az. in his Marrakesh workshop, using terracotta clay sourced from Safi—Morocco's historic pottery capital. The clay's natural warmth and weight give each mug a grounding presence in the hand.

What makes these mugs distinctive is their hand-engraved surface patterning. Abdelhak carves geometric motifs into the clay before glazing, creating tactile ridges and grooves you'll feel with every sip. The set includes three glaze colors—grey-mauve, olive-yellow, and turquoise-blue—each responding differently to the engraved lines, highlighting the depth of the carving.

Crafted for the Everyday

Each mug holds approximately 150–180ml, sized for espresso, cortado, or a concentrated morning brew. The sturdy handle is pulled and attached by hand, ensuring comfortable balance. Abdelhak's workshop follows a modern traditionalism approach: rooted in Safi ceramic techniques, adapted for contemporary kitchen use.
