Authenticity Protocol
Buying “Moroccan handmade” online is risky: fake origins, mass-produced imports, and resellers with inflated markups. Our MVP focuses on a simple promise: every item is tied to a real workshop in Morocco.
Before a seller can list, we collect identity and workshop proof via a controlled onboarding flow (WhatsApp supported), then verify internally. Only verified sellers can publish products.
- Basic ID verification + workshop context
- Contact + location consistency checks
- Contract + acceptance of quality/packing standards
odol For each product, we store an “origin trail” (MVP version): product photos, workshop association, and category-specific signals (e.g., ceramics from Safi).
- Product linked to a verified seller/workshop
- Non-stock, real photography (raw, not AI)
- Metadata: city of origin, material, dimensions, lead time
Ceramics break when packing is sloppy. Our sellers follow a simple export-safe packing checklist. This reduces risk and improves buyer trust.
- Double-wall boxes + padding protocol
- Fragile labeling + photo proof (MVP)
- Clear customs description to reduce border holds
If something goes wrong (damage, mismatch), we resolve fast. The MVP prioritizes speed and accountability.
The biggest risk is fake origin and low accountability. This protocol gives early buyers certainty and gives investors confidence that the platform is building proprietary trust infrastructure — not just a storefront.
