Kilimy was built to solve a simple problem: buying authentic Moroccan handmade goods online has become risky. Fake origins, mass-produced imports, and reseller markups have diluted trust.
We work directly with real workshops in Morocco — ceramicists, metal workers, and artisans whose craft has been passed down for generations. Every product is tied to a real maker, a real city, and a real story.
The world loves Moroccan style — but artisans rarely benefit from it. We’re building infrastructure that:
- Verifies workshops before they sell
- Removes middlemen
- Protects buyers
- Creates fair, global access for African craftsmanship
This project started from personal frustration — watching incredible artisans struggle to sell online while fake “Moroccan” products dominated marketplaces.
The goal is not to build another shop — but a trusted export system for African handmade goods, starting with Morocco.
