Installation, placement and care

This Moroccan sconce shade is supplied as a metal shade only, so it does not light up on its own. Any electrical fitting should be supplied and installed by a qualified electrician to your local code. Wall screws for the shade are not included, so choose fixings suited to your wall type. The shade is 16 cm (6.3 in) wide on the outside, so the light fitting behind it has to be narrower than that.

The maker confirms that the shade can be used indoors, in bathrooms and on outdoor walls. A light fitting used in a bathroom or outdoors must be rated for that location.
The shade is not designed to hold a candle or any open flame.
Dust it with a soft dry cloth only, with the light switched off and the bulb cool. If the shade gets wet, wipe it dry, because iron can rust where the finish is scratched.
