About this piece
Two Pieces, One Object
The soap dish itself — oval, deep, hand-engraved across every surface with Moroccan scrollwork — sits beside a pierced geometric back panel shaped like an eight-pointed star lattice. The panel stands upright, a piece of architectural decoration that happens to hold your soap. Together they form a bathroom set that carries the visual language of Marrakech's medina into the most private room of your home.
Amzil made both pieces by hand in his Marrakech workshop. The oval dish is engraved with the same botanical scrollwork that appears on traditional Khamsa designs — curling lines, textured fields, hand-worked depth. The back panel is pierced separately, cut opening by opening through solid brass, the geometric star pattern emerging triangle by triangle. Two techniques. One craftsman. One coherent object.

Care Instructions
Rinse after use and dry with a soft cloth. Brass will develop a natural patina over time. To restore original shine, polish gently with lemon juice and salt, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
