This handmade copper tray draws inspiration from Morocco's centuries-old metalworking tradition. Queued for production by Mehdi Ba., a second-generation brass artisan working in Marrakesh's Old Medina, each piece will be shaped entirely by hand in his family workshop. Mehdi specializes in hand-hammered brass and copper décor, transforming raw metal into serving pieces that honor ancestral techniques while meeting contemporary tastes.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Measuring 34 centimeters in diameter, this tray combines copper and brass—two metals long favored by Moroccan artisans for their warmth, durability, and ability to take on rich patinas over time. The hand-hammering process creates subtle texture across the surface, a signature of traditional metalwork that distinguishes each tray from factory-made alternatives.
