Item Details

Crafted in the Heart of Marrakesh's Metalworking Quarter

This hand-hammered copper cooking pot comes to life in Mehdi Ba.'s workshop, tucked within the labyrinthine alleys of Marrakesh's Old Medina. A second-generation artisan, Mehdi learned the rhythms of hammer on metal from his father, and has spent eight years refining his command of brass and copper. Working alongside a close team of four craftsmen, he shapes each pot using techniques passed down through generations of Moroccan metalworkers.

Pure Copper, Shaped by Hand

Every pot is hand-hammered from pure copper—a material treasured for its superior heat conductivity, natural antibacterial properties, and remarkable durability. The hammering process leaves subtle facets across the surface, catching light and lending each piece its own character. Copper is fully recyclable, making this pot as kind to the earth as it is functional in your kitchen.

Five Sizes for Every Need

Available in diameters ranging from 20cm to 40cm, these pots adapt to cooking tagines, simmering stews, serving couscous, or simply anchoring your kitchen with warm, burnished beauty.

Care Instructions

  • Hand-wash with warm water and mild soap
  • Dry immediately to preserve the copper's lustre
  • Polish occasionally with lemon and salt or a copper cleaner to maintain shine
  • Avoid abrasive scouring pads
